HBO Series

It started with The Sopranos. Two years of jamming my Netflix queue later, it was Band of Brothers, still today one of my favorites (check out "The Pacific miniseries "in Wikipedia If you liked Band of Brothers). Then, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and for a minute, Ali G DVD were in the email. At this point, I was getting tired of being a year behind in all my favorite shows, but assumed that HBO was putting a good run, soon to end. After all, not even really watching television. Some of my friends had satellite TV, which was great, but only occasionally looked anything but sport, and HD was not available yet. Occasionally, the History Channel, Discovery occasionally, maybe a bit of front line here and there, but overall, I really do not watch TV.

Then it happened. He had taken one or two episodes of Season 2 at a friend's house on satellite, but I was not hooked yet. Gradually, more and most of my friends were raving, "this is the best HBO series yet." I felt like police dramas were exaggerated, actually know nothing about Baltimore was not interested. But I still have not HBO, so I figured why not, he ordered up. A third of the way of Season 1 was completely addicted. My whole tail was stuck up with the thread, and literally could not miss. As a daemon on a Stanfield corner, I was watching two or three episodes per night, although the removal of discs, one each day. Then hit like Bubs, the withdrawal of the series have ended crushed me. In my opinion, has not touched the wire, but that has not prevented from continuing with HBO to produce the best programs on television. One of the few brands that live up to its motto, is to television, it is much, much better.

After The Wire, I got caught up in Entourage, I put the tail back, and then bit the bullet. I was tired of listen and parts of the current stations of my favorite shows, just wait for the DVD to arrive months later. Almost anticipating the rapid imposition of Murphy's Law, immediately after the subscription satellite television, I expected to leave the programming. Apparently, Murphy was not paying attention this time, it is as good as ever. Entourage continues, along with Flight of the Conchords, and my new favorite, to the east and Down.

These days I see in high definition what makes my life as one of the few remaining fans of boxing in the universe very exciting night of the fight to come. if I want to or not, the great struggles in the outcome of HBO a party at my house. If you are impressed by the NFL Sunday Ticket in HD - Try to see a title fight, is striking. Discovery banged up from time to time to see Planet Earth in HD, but mostly, I'll take one or two rounds of the network that got me hooked. Best of all, actually released my Netflix queue of movies, which is a welcome change from the frustration of the references to get my friends have been doing to the characters of these programs six months late ...
