Ms. Charlaine Harris was born on November 25, 1951 in Tunica, Mississippi. She has been a title New York Times bestselling author and has been in the business of writing for over 20 years. She lives in Magnolia, in southern Arkansas with her three children and husband. In the early days of his literary career began with the ghosts in poetry and then began writing plays and adolescent problems. However, it was not until he began to write books that really won the recognition.

The series was called the first Aurora Teagarden book that began with "Real Murders" in 1990 and this series ended with the last book in 2003 - "Poppy Done to Death. "There were eight books in this series.

Since 1996, Charlaine Harris then began writing a series called Shakespeare, also known as Lily Bard. "Owner of Shakespeare" was the first book of five, while "Shakespeare's Counselor", concluded the series in 2001.

Then, in the same year he began writing his most beloved and famous series - the Sookie Stackhouse, or also known as the Southern vampire series. "Dead Until Dark "was the first and at the time of the last to be released was" A Touch of Dead ", which is actually a compilation of stories about Sookie universe. The novels are based around a telepathic waitress who falls for a vampire. The plot is situated in a small town called Bon Temps, Louisiana. The first Sookie Stackhouse series - "Dead Until Dark" - picked up the Anthony Award for Best Paperback Mystery and it was in 2001. To date the series of Sookie Stackhouse has been released in many different countries in many different languages.

The producer, Alan Ball (known for its production of "Six Feet Under"), Charlaine Harris approached to ask if he would be interested in allowing the series to be the basis for an HBO television production. The first television series was exhibited in September 2008 and was named "True Blood". Although "True Blood" was a bit slow to really gain popularity, there has been a second series ( "True Blood 2") and went off and checked which has been very well received.

In October 2001, Charlaine Harris also began writing a new series of books called the Harper Connelly series, which is writing about a girl who uses her clairvoyance to find dead. The last of the current series of four book was released in 2009.
