problem with cable TV?

I have Comcast digital cable, and have had these boneheads here 4 times without luck. When I find a program through the guide sometimes I hit a TCH channel WAC = and says "this channel is temporarily unavailable: do it all the time and especially the movie channels I'm paying like HBO. Also, I get an error code when trying to access the application, saying GOAL 6 and sometimes says 3 / 4 !!!!!!! and thus. no idea what I can do? They said it was a cable, it replaces, the box it replaces. nothing works. Help!

Cable TV has always been a difficult thing. The image quality is affected by many variables from "their" end to his. such things as age you'reliving place when it was "wired" and what kind of cable is used - all these factors (and many more) are directly related to the enjoyment of the service they are paying. And that's the real problem is paying for a service - so you should not settle for anything less than uniform quality across all channels. Since cable companies are notorious to pass the ball, you have to take the initiative and being persistent until the final (vs. vague) answers them. At each moment take the easy way out. Have to say if the wiring is up to (I suppose if they have not used that excuse, however, the wiring is fine.) But they have to confirm, "Yes, ma'am, cabling is correct. If uthat I can say, then hold their feet to the fire until it resolves the issue ... or ... cut your losses and get DirecTV (satellite service). Allow me a moment to tell where I come: I have been professionally designing and installing home theaters for nearly 20 years. I've seen it all when it comes to TV reception. Okay, go. The theme as it sounds in the box. Start by having to replace the box. If you've already done that, take note of what channels are coming in greater and which no. If the upper digital channels suck, then the problem is at its end. If the child suck canals, most likely an internal wiring problem. Keep in mind, these are general guidelines, but they have a lot of reality behind them. Also, if there are any known signal "splitters" ( "Y" connectors) hiding in the attic, they should let him know about it. Often, they are redundant and can be removed to greatly improve the signal / picture quality. The main point is, you're paying for it, get your money worth!
