Southern Vampire Mysteries (True Blood), or Twilight vampire series by Anne Rice?

Obviously, I am fond of reading vampire novels whose character Home ... I've read twilight and watched the movie as well. Then I was in the HBO series True Blood, coupled to it, so I was able to read the books too. I've also seen some of the film adaptation of Anne Rice's novels, but have'nt read any of his novels ... but my question is, what of the "vampires based on" the novel you prefer to read? Southern Vampire Mysteries / Sookie Stackhouse series (True Blood) by Charlaine Harries, Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, or the vampire series by Anne Rice? uhmmm .. for those who have read the vampire series by Anne Rice, does sequence of each book is different from others? and if is different from others, what book do you recommend to read first?

I read Twilight and the Vampire Chronicles series and the first of the South series Vampire Mysteries. But I think you should read The Vampire Chronicles, begins with Interview with the Vampire and the books are absolute classics! I also really liked the first book of the Southern Vampire Mysteries (some things that reminded me of the evening, but better and less childish), so that makes it the ultimate in Twilight my list. It was a good story, but there were holes in the plot and writing was not very good.
